The 2nd meet-up with Peti Solek!!!!

Ok so, 13 November me and Wak Jawa met up with The kakak2 andams from Peti Solek :)
I took leave while Wak Jawa took half day since his work place is nearer.
We were lost ok! Mana tak lost, dari kampung East ker West......selenger bacen! Wak Jawa was driving and kita pusing punya pusing still tak dapat carik the building, we are around the area but ish.....building tak jumpa2 nie....
I look looked at the time and damn, we were 30mins late!
So finally we FOUND the buidling (Selenge kaper!!)

The moment I went in, Yana terus tegur "U lost weight???!!!!!!"
yes, lost just a lil....not too much seh! 
So I replied "Yes!!....a litttle jer sebab nak pakai baju2 cantik from Peti Solek kan!! hahahah!!"

And I wanted to choose the Pre-Wed outfit 1st since is nearing but Yaya insist for me to choose the Nikah outfit dulu.
Ok lah, she's the expert so I dengar cakap kakak andam I ok....
She 1st asked me what colour and pattern I like....Just told her that I wanted something simple, sweet and pure and as long as the kain is flowy (my mum's request) so Yaya choose this for me to try it on...

Hehe!! Sneak2 jer lah k.....its simple jer since Im gonna don on the hijab for my nikah, I don't want to much of beads or details on the baju :)
I just love the platform that I was on….feeling ala2 model (plus size) I sedar I ni tak kurus hokay!

And then it is Wak Jawa's turn to try his outfit on.....
I didnt manage to take his pic coz I was too mesmerized lah seh, He look so..GGGAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! Handsome seh....seriously! Haha....coz  Wak Jawa is not really the kind who will dress up and stuffs so when he tried on the outfit, Fuhlamak! 
Honestly, I fell in love again with him :)


NEXT UP!!!! The 1st photoshoot outfit :)
Again, Yaya asked me what I would like the pattern to be and I told her I wanted something simple2 jer (Tak habis2 eh nak simple)
She chose this outfit (to me it just didnt look appealing) and I think Yaya sensed my 'not convinced' look so she quickly say "try jer dulu...kadang2 baju ni kan, nak kene try baru nampak cantik....."
Ok, with a heavy heart, I tried it....and OMG!!!!!! its beautiful lah deh!
Yaya was like more happy to see me in the outfit than Wak Jawa.

To make things great, I was informed that the outfit Im wearing for the photoshoot is only launching next year and I am the 1st one who gets to wear it even before they launched!! woohoooo.....!!!!!!

And another thing to share with you.....My 2nd outfit for the photoshoot, I decided to get Amor Bridal to assist me with something which does not look too 'bride' and not too casual, they met me at my house and took the measurements and I had to wait for around 6 weeks for the outfit to siap.

A month had passed……and I received this in my email…….

What do you think? its sweet kan……simple2 jer :)

The photoshoot is just next week and my kursus rumah tangga is this weekend…yippie yay!!!

The WORST bridal ever...!

We all have heard of the famous Enchantered Weddding right? The couple (husband and wife) that have all in one package that tipu many mempelai out there.


Now..now...akak nak share siket lah eh. About this bridal that makes me really hilang kesabaran when I had read her whatsapp reply to a bride. I have never heard of this bridal before but I survey2 and she is quite known lah. 
Wont say which bridal....but u all look see look see lah sendiri yer...



Ok, here it is.....what I personally find it 'unacceptable' is the way her reply to customer. Not tactful at all, not patient enough, does not dare to face the customers when they insist to meet her. So unprofessional lah senang kata. Baju jahit asal boleh and benang terkeluar-terkeluar on baju nikah pengantin. The bride and groom on the other hand very the penyabar seh (klau kene aku, confirm berbakul maki hamun aku kasi)

Ok fine, her grandmother is in the hospital and it may affect her mood but still, you gotta be professional kan? 
You don't have to say things like -
"tak yah ungkit k"
"we already 7 years in this business and no complain at all"
"if you pay 1pair 1k for high end boutoque den u can complain"






And they even have the cheek to say that the benang they use to sew on the groom baju is gold when it is orange...like obvious orange. Kesian tau mak pengantin bukak balek tu jahitan and sew back. ish ish ish...!

Bridesmaids and Bestmen are gonna be featured in our PHOTOSHOOT!!

Oww yes, i've said it. They are so gonna be in the photoshoot!
And this idea was by Wak Jawa himself. Well actually I wasn't really keen on the idea of having them in the photoshoot mainly because I have already so much of planning for our 3 days wedding event and to have them in the photoshoot means MORE PLANNING like what outfit to wear, what theme, nanti ader jer yg star karat, maner yg selalu kene retake sebab satu slalu spoil pic..haha!!! 
But what Wak Jawa said makes me change my mind - "Awak, I think having them in is better tau, sebab aper, the package we took with Bliss for the Pre-Wed consist of 60 Shots. Abeh tak kan lah all 60 pics asek muker kiter kan? Its a bit boring lah.....At least 30 pics of just us in 1 outfit and the one with the bridesmaid and bestman kiter pakai casual lah...kan more fun?"
Ok Fine...Sumpah aku suker idea itu...haha! It wont be a vavavoom busy outfit lah...just something simple jer...furthermore its an outdoor photoshoot, must at least be comfortable lor.
Well, as you know that I only have 2 Bridesmaids and Wak Jawa on the other hand have 4.
So to balance the number and to make the picture cantik with even people, I have decided to add 2 more close ones for the bridesmaid (just for the photoshoot) Who I added? Its my closest cuzzy, Nad and Firman's (Wak Jawa's bro) fiancé, Rohze.

Initially had wanted for them to wear white with Turquoise accessories like for eg. The men wear white shirt with turquoise bowtie or suspenders while the ladies wore white dress with turquoise anything (hairband or bangle or necklace or whatever lah eh)


BUT!!!! Wak Jawa pulak tak agree....he wanted pink...wait what??? PINK? PINK eh dekni...mak ai....
Slalu yg kluar idea pink perempuan kan? eh.....dekni kelakar kaper??
So to be fair, I'm not gonna have either Pink or Turquoise...now thinking of another colour although I am still hopeful on the turquoise..oops!
mak ai! pening! (don tell me red eh...stop it eh nanti orang ingat aku ni patriotic per colour Singapore merah and putih)


So now im just waiting for some inspiration jer lah...kot2 maner tau lah kan ilham datang within these few weeks..hehe! wish me all the best k?

Photoshoot venue......in consideration

We met with Syahrul (our photographer) to confirm on our photoshoot. We have decided to have it 3 months before the wedding. Peti Solek also have confirm that they can assist us with the photoshoot..Alhamdulillah!

Below are the proposed venues that we are thinking of having....still in discussion though.

1st Venue - Changi Airport
Wak Jawa mati matian wants to take at the airport because that is where we both used to work. And if its not because of the airport, he wouldn't have met me (no...its takdir ok selenger, bukan kerana airport or what....hehe, ok sorry!) I really, hate the idea of having it at the airport coz slalu ketawa2 kan the couples yang photoshoot at airport "aper lah ada kat airport nie eh.." LOL! I mean, 6 years i was working at the airport, da jelak ok! haha! I really bangkang when Wak Jawa wanted the Airport and he list down the reasons too...and lastly he says "awak, this is about the both of us kan, u already choose 1 location, y cant I choose the other location? u cannot always think of u only tau..."
OK FINE.....sayang punya pasal, we both I compromise. Additional to that, Wak Jawa is the kinda guy yang tak leh tahan panas, so having it at the airport would at least save my ear from bleeding caused by his grumble when he is in his rimas mode. But den, as I googled on wedding photo shoots at the airport, its quite nice seh.....oops!
I shall leave it in the hands of our photographer, Syahruz to do his magical click click :)

2nd Venue - Lower Seletar
As December is the rainy season....I am hoping that the rain won't come on just that particular day...errr or maybe just half a day..hehe! Kita berdoa yer...
I fell in love with this pic that I saw and since it was taken by Bliss, I asked Syahrul if he knew where the place is by showing the photo and he said "eh...ini gambar saya ni....this was taken in 2012 sey.."
Haha..ok great, at least we know the venue...wohooo...!! I was in love with the tree honestly! The tree macam ala ala cerita notebook kinda feel, the tree macam have that deep feeling, the tree of love, the tree looks like if i were to publish my own book, this tree is gonna be the cover for my book.....the tree...eh diam lah sia! the tree pergi the tree balek...haha!! I was telling Wak Jawa about this venue and this particular tree when he say "I hope the tree is cut down by the time its our photoshoot time..haha!" eh!! biadap kan ni orang...hmph! coz he wanted to take all the shoots in he airport...gggrrr!!!

3rd Venue - Bidadari
This place is indeed unique. I love how the surrounding looks like and im sure the whole thing is gonna look pretty in pictures. But one thing is, its BIDADARI lah siol! Ok, so far the people who have taken there Alhamdulillah have had no issues, but i am just preparing for the 'WHAT Ifs' lah kan. My bridesmaid Ziedah, ada lemah semangat siket, in the case I need her to follow me for my photoshoot there, skali dier buat perangai...tak ker nanti laki dia da carik aku...hehe!

4th Venue - Botanical Garden
Im sure by now you all would have noticed that I am in love with greenery!!!
Oww yess I am! Coz it really gives me this feeling of ease...ahh, mother nature :)
Hence this place is one of the 'chosen' ones. 
(must selit the photoshoot me and my girlfriends did years back..LOL)

We initially wanted this photoshoot to be only the 2 of us when Wak Jawa mentioned that he had the idea of having the bridesmaids and bestman in the photoshoot as well (I think he must have seen some  pictures online lah). He also said "u tengok eh...the photoshoot package we take have 60 shots...abeh tak kan 60 shots tu semua gambar kita kan....boring lah kan klau kasi orang tengok.."
Ah ah eh.....yer tak yer jugak!

My Bridesmaids...CONFIRMED!!

I have long decided (even before I was attached) on who I would like to be my bridesmaid. I don want a busy and kecoh sampai nak ader 10 bridesmaid (susah siol nak handle, nak fikir transportation and outfit lagik).


So Its only 2, that is, my sweetest bestie...Ziedah And Raihanah :)
The 2 sweet ladies with hijab...whee!!!!

Wak Jawa on the other hand have 4 (but only 2 will be staying for the Saturday event during my side)
Because I told Wak Jawa that I want the quantity to balance. The 4 will den be present during the Sunday Event, for his side that is. I am very satisfied by his choice of bestmen :)
Mana tak puas hati, they are very reliable and very sporting! (siap ah korang part hadang2..hehe!)




So yeah, I have briefed my bridesmaids a little on what to do and what to expect (kerja bridesmaid ni bukan setakat tangkap glamour ok)

• Time keeper! ok, this one is really not an issue because I am doing the whole day for my side, so no time constraint lah :) only thing is that liasing with the guys side when they are on the way. Because my family is definitely gonna be busy layan tetamu and don even have time to check hp, so I will get my bridemaids to do it yah.

• assist to be the 'teeth checker' yelah, klau lepas makan abeh ada sayur terselit tak glamour siol! haha! klau baju hijau takper jugak, at least boleh lah blend in kan dgn sayur..

• assist to take pics for the guests. some guest would want to have the pics in their own camera hence they would like for someone to help to take the pics and if can, I would want to avoid disturbing the camera man on this (he has to capture moments leh...) so bridesmaids would really be a great help.

• standby amek kan air for me....just in case lah kan, haus dan dahaga da yang sewaktu dgn nya...LOL!!!

• check2 kan my make up (just in case mak andam terlepas padang) nanti people all kiss2 and their lipstick stain kene my pipi or what lah eh....haha!! must really keep a close watch on me tau...

• macam2 lagik lah........cant think of any for now.  What else eh? any ideas? do comment yah :)

DIET!!!!!!!

I really, really, really have to do something to my body. Been gaining weight like nobody's business siak!


Used to be 48-50kg jer now im a whale weighing of 70kg....ah....amek kau! LOL!!
I am doing some light exercise and zumba by myself. For food intake, I have cut down on desserts, cut down on rice and totally cut on sweet/coloured drinks and I am only drinking plain water. As the days are nearer to the big day, I am going to double the dosage of my exercise (have to add jogging to my list) and more strict diet. I do cheat here and there a lil bit...oops! but not to the extend of 'melebih' lah kan.


My target...at least 58kg......at least lah....
im trying ok!
