Strip it off!!

So, I am already coming to 17 weeks....past 4 months into pregnancy and yesterday was my 1st Brazilian Waxing while pregnant..teehee...

Me, I have high tolerance for pain....but waxing your down there during pregnancy is sakit lah siol!
Well it is due to more blood flow down there hence our Vajayjay tends to be a little more sensitive.
I was never nervous for waxing appointments but this one got me nervous as hell, like awaiting for O-Level results ah gitu LOL! But I gotta compliments the staffs at Strips because they are very professional :)

But for this time, I don't think I'm going to go for waxing appointments every month lah, guess I'll just be going once every 2 months.

 So all my pregnant mamas out there,  I'm sure waxing is nothing compared to real contractions eh? hehehe!

Hi all, I promised you guys my review on the wedding vendors tapi the procrastination in me da overtake diri aku sampai da setahun kawin pon maseh perangai sama..LOL!!

Well actually, its been a while I've been on hiatus because me and Husb are planning to have a baby.....
so, plan punya plan sampai lah..............

This is baby at 5weeks 6 days. We initially had planned on meeting the Doc only when I had reached 8 weeks because that is when the heartbeat da ada but I was experiencing some spotting....and because I have miscarriaged before, Hubby was a lil concerned and insist to go KKH 24hrs O&G for a check.
We were attended by this jambu Dr, her name is Dr Felicia Chin...so warm and friendly ok! :)
So she did a transvaginal scan and of course no heartbeat yet lah..hehe!
My question to her was "is the baby size normal?" 
She replied "oh yes it is....so far everything looks ok...there's the sac and yolk....but don't worry, as long as the spotting is brown in colour and you do not have any abnorminal pain, it is ok. But if the spotting is red and you have pain on your tummy area, come back here immediately because that is high chance of a miscarriage...now, Im gonna prescribed you Hormone pills called Duphaston, this pill will stop your bleeding and strengthened the embryo...you rest well for now and we will arrange for you to come back next 2 weeks for a follow up yah.."
I was relieved to hear that.....but still not too relieved because I don't want to confirm this pregnancy until I hear the heartbeat..and addition to that, the following week I was going for 1st Year Anniversary trip to Phuket.
I asked the doctor if it is safe for me to travel during this period and she discouraged it of course...bleargh.
Because I am still on the 1st trimester and that she was a lil concerned that the morning sickness would kick in and that I would be very uncomfortable to have to go through morning sickness at another country. But we just tawakkal and still went for our Phuket trip :) Hub was very strict on my movements and stuffs. We had to change plan on our Island Hopping.....Hub also don't want to go for the Phuket Fantasea :(
So all we did was eat, sleep, shop.....repeating all of that for the 3 days we were there...LOL!!!

The week after our Phuket trip was over my eldest sis hosted a ''Cukur Rambut" ceremony for her 4th Daughter. I was one of the excited aunt with all the baby vibes going on here and while halfway through the event, right after Zuhur, I felt feverish. I had Diarrhea earlier that morning and now fever? So i told my Sis that I'm gonna use one of her room to rest. I told Hubby, who was at work that I am feeling so weak and feverish and for now I can still tahan till he comes because after work he have to attend a Tahlil session for his Father's side of the family.
He only reached my sis place at 10pm. I was in a deep sleep and the moment he came to touch me, he immediately say "sayang, awak demam panas ni...come get up...tak payah pakai tudung, I'm bringing you to the hospital."
I honestly don't want to go because our follow up appointment is in 2 days time and I don't want to waste money unnecessarily. I'm just having fever and I believe it will subside soon ah but Hubby was persistent on going to the Hospital and say "sayang, ini demam panas and awak mengandung, ni bende tak boleh buat main2 eh. Please, you've miscarriaged before and I dont want it to happen the 2nd time....."

So off we go to KKH 24hrs O&G........while on the way there, Hubby texted his family stating that I'm having high fever and going KKH, kebetulan pulak my In Laws were outside and somewhere near KKH area so they also dropped by. The nurse checked my temperature, heartbeat and blood pressure. She mentioned that my heartbeat was beating too fast but my blood pressure was low but have to wait for doctors review to see what is the next step.
The Doctor 1st did a transvaginal scan on me to check if Baby is ok and that is when I 1st heard the heartbeat...Masya Allah!!!! She say "you see this flickering thing....thats the heartbeart. I'll let you hear the baby's heartbeat, trust me..its a very beautiful sound..." She adjusted the volume to be louder and there it is.....so fast the heartbeat.....

This is Baby at 7weeks 6days

She then told me to consume 2 tablets of Panadol and to come back in 45 minutes to check back my heartbeat rate. If it is still fast, I will have to be warded :(
Fast forward to 45mins, came back and all is good, Alhamdulillah...I am able to go home...yabedabedooooo!!!!!

And 2 days later, balek KKH seh..LOL!!! Buang duit betul....gggrrrrr!!!! But this time check up no longer at the 24hrs O&G clinic. It is now at Clinic A. Everything went well, Alhamdulillah. Although my spotting has not stopped (tak guna seh makan Duphaston yang Doc prescribed) yang penting Baby inside is growing well :)

This is Baby at 8weeks 1day.

Next check up is exactly in a months time. Hope everything turns out ok. I am no longer spotting so that makes me less worried. My bump started to show when I was at 9weeks...quite fast seh and now I am coming to 11weeks, its quite obvious already as some colleagues have started to ask..LOL!
I didn't tell everyone at work yet, only my superior and close colleagues but somehow I cannot hide it anymore lah. Konon nak tunggu after my 1st trimester ends lah gitu kan tapi tak kesampaian...kwang kwang kwang!!!

I really have issues with updating seh! Sampai da tahun baru pon tak ubah2...huahuahua!
Anyways, here's an update on my sis chosen Mak Andam :)

 
Ishq by Nora Zee had an open house on the 20th December 2015....
Guess what? Me, lil sis and her fiance went down ok.....and one of the best part, we're the 1st in line lah seh!! but the most best part of all is??????? Nora Zee's husband and my future BIL, Fazlan are friends lah siak! 
woohooooooo!!!!!!

When Ishq by Nora Zee posted on their IG/FB account on their open house from 4pm-8pm, my sis asked me this -
Sis : kak, what time you think i should come down?
me : 2 hours earlier...
Sis : what??? merepek seh kak...where got like that one?
Me : you dont trust me izzit? I blog and read other people's blog, i know how some BTB are crazy like me too....trust me, go down early. 
Sis : i tot i can come by 345pm gitu..
Me : NO!!!!!!! You will regret coming down that time...
Sis : hmmm.....ok lor....

So, the day came and my BIL arrived to fetch us a lil late as there was jam along TPE due to road accident. We reached the place at about 240pm and my eyes was scanning around to see other malay couples but none in sight. The door of the place was open when we reached there and the sounds of people setting up the place with chairs and tables dragged can be heard too so me and Sis kinda stand a lil further from the entrance as we didn't want to 'scare' the people of Ishq with our early presence..huahuahua..
And just 5 mins into waiting, one of the staffs, a malay guys saw us and asked if we are here to sign up...sheepishly I answered ÝES!" But I told him not to mind us and we are aware that we came freaking early so we will just wait till it officially opens when my future BIL who had just came from his smoke session tros pekik............
Fazlan : "Eh...Hafiz!!!!!
Ishq Staff : eh.....Faz!!! kau buat apa kat sini? 
Fazlan : aku datang dengan tunang aku and kakak dia nak sign up lah....
Ishq : oh...bagus2...eh, mari ah, masok..tunggu kat dalam, ada aircon..
Fazlan: boleh ker? kita tak ganggu korang nak set up semua?
Ishq : tak lah....kau kan 1st in line....special ah untuk korang...masok2...

Fazlan and the Ishq Staff knew each other since he was still doing his NS and the Ishq staff was a regular in the same station.
Me and Sis da excited giler ah...just when we were about to enter, saw another malay couple who just came..but they had to wait outside k...with the doors closed...hehehe...
While waiting, mata ku and adek ku da scanning baju2 Ishq....lawa2 per siak! 
I thank my sis for bringing me along because the excited feeling of how I managed to sign my deal with Peti Solek came back. Konon teringat lah gitu zaman2 i dulu BTB..hehe!

Fazlan and the Ishq Staff continued their conversation when  Fazlan asked -
Fazlan : so, you work here already ah?
Ishq Staff : yah.....I already resigned last year, so i'm helping my wife with her business..
Me & Sis : *secretly looked at each other with jaw drop* my Wife???

We didnt wanna get that excited and to straightaway confirmed that he is Nora Zee's husband, so I told Future BIL to check the Ishq Staff's FB or IG to confirm....
True enough............HE IS NORA ZEE'S HUSBAND LAH SEH!!!!!!!

By then it was already 330pm and I told my sis I wanna sneak peak outside to see the queue.

Taken from their IG at 3pm so can you imagine the queue at 330pm?

My sis was so thankful she heeded my advice to come early..while I gave her the "i know right" body language.

And I can even tell her "if you come down at 345pm, your date kirim salam sua.." coz her big day falls in mid January and Peti Solek had to 'reject' her coz slots are full on that date. Ah, tu kesian seh adek aku...on the day she had an appointment to meet Peti Solek, they inform my sis a few hours later that her date are already booked. Can you imagine, orang da amek leave segala and I even took half day to teman her da wasted. She bingit, of course..but I told her, it is not her rezeki and that your rezeki may go to another mak andam. I mean who seh tak bingit klau tak dapat Peti Solek but hey, she got Ishq by Nora Zee siol...so it is still on the same par :)

Ni semua kire blessings in disguise kan. 

And i really love the fact that Nora Zee do this 1st come 1st serve open house sign up system because itu betul2 fair to those who came early rather then you get people to email you and you gave the appointment date which is 2 months later only on a weekday and that people had to take leave or half day or change off day and just to be slapped by an email (not by phone call ok) of "your date is no longer available" a few hours prior to the appointment. 

Can you imagine if my sis didnt open her email and we were to come down macam budak bodoh and to be rejected in our faces that we cannot sign up their packages?

hmmmm........I love Peti Solek, no doubt. Yaya did a wonderful job with her magical hands during my Photoshoot and Nikah...but I believe they can improvise on their booking system. What we (me,sis and BIL) had went through, we hope didn't happen to other couple as well. Insya Allah...

Oh anyways,
