Photoshoot!!!!

The day is finally here :) 

After months of preparing with the ladies and Wak Jawa plan with the guys..this is it…(eh..mcm da time nak nikah lah pulak eh)

Since the 2nd outfit and venue will be with the bridesmaid and best man, I thought that having some props would be nice :)
So I seek my elder sister help on this (Oh, she's creative by the way, unlike me..gahhh!!)
I didn't want to have so many props (menyusahkan) nanti da sampai venue nak kene angkut barang2 tu lah yang paling menyampah…so I just chose to be simple :)

Only 3 things -

• My wedding hashtag - #faililahweds  (all letters to be individually displayed in A4 size)
• Team Groom & Team Bride
• Mr Right & Mrs Always Right (nyehehehehe)

My mum worked for DHL, so when some shipment came, they packed the cargo with this styrofoam pad and my mum thought that it could be of a good use so she brought some back.

With this, my sis printed the alphabet and it turned out -

My sis suggested for the sign of Mr Right and Mrs Always right to be in a callout form, I'm down with anything coz part2 gini I is very selenge one…

The last and final one….my sis just used cardboard je :)

Props all set now…yeah!!

We all planned for the bridesmaids to wear all white with whatever colour accessories they like and this is what they wore.

And here are the guys, white shirt with grey pants (of course, Wak Jawa definitely cannot wear same lah kan)

The day before Yaya from Peti Solek whatsapp me to inform the time she will be coming and to wash my hair the night before. I seriously am not used to not washing my hair on the same day but nak cantik nye pasal, dengar kan je…nyehehe..

Yaya supposed to reach my place at 1230pm however she reached 10mins earlier….which is great!

She is so funny and because I also merepek meraban hence we can quickly click. We talked about stuffs from takder kene mengene dgn wedding to how she started her career to berbual macam makcik2 to emo2 segala….tengok ah, tak gerek ke dapat kakak andam mcm gini?

Yaya say she didn't wanna overdo my make up for that day as it is just for photoshoot and she's saving the vavavoom look for my nikah ceremony.

How babes???? jambu tak saya? haha!! Dari muka kapal pecah to this, gotta thank those magical hands of Yaya. Wak Jawa came shortly, drenched, due to the heavy rain. Yes, it rained…..he took bike to my place as we gonna use my dad's car for the photoshoot transport. I was hoping that the rain will stop during the later part of the day as our 2nd location will be outdoor…where? Bidadari :)

Ni baju baru ok, supposed to be for 2015 brides but 1'm the lucky one who wore it 1st :)

Its a dress with detailed beadings. I love how the bottom of the dress flows.
I is feeling ala2 Rozita Che Wan (eh diam siak…bagai langit dgn bumi ok!)

I looked different right? Showed my mum, future mum in law, grandma and 2 of my aunties  and they are all amazed.
 I gotta give myself a pat on my own back (eh..bole sampai ke?) for the weight I've lost. If not, you think I can fit in this dress meh? :D

We opt the colour brown for Wak Jawa…why? Because not many will take this colour and furthermore, during our sanding, Wak Jawa will be wearing Black coat during my side and White or Grey Suit during his side so he have all the different look lah. (sorry eh tie dia ada senget siket)

We reached kinda late…..janji Syahruz kul 3 at airport T3 tapi 315pm baru kluar rumah…oops!
Once we reached airport, Syahruz taker hegeh and straightaway get down to business…dia nya click2 the camera so the pro k. I kept on mentioning to him that I don't want my double chin to be seen..haha! (eh, klau da gemok tetap nampak lah…tak payah hide2)
He brought us to some of the places he knows that nice lah…kita ikutkan je sebab he knows better. While at that met some of our ex colleagues….well, we both used to work airport mah.

After the shoot at the airport is done, its time to change to the 2nd outfit and off we go for our 2nd location…..this what what Im more excited because we'll be taking with the Bridesmaid and Bestman…woohoooo!!!!!

Syahruz asked if we wanna pose with the rest 1st or have our couple shot taken 1st, I chose the latter…save the best for last lah konon…

Pose gini pose itu…sampai peluh. I gotta compliment on how Syahruz makes me and Wak Jawa so comfortable and ensure no awkward moment. Professional lah seh and the whole process didn't take long..we were done by 7pm or so.

Its a wrap!!!!!!!!

After that, we head down to Tang Tea House for dinner….confirm ah sia semua kebulur. A simple treat from me and Wak Jawa for the gerek peeps. Nothing much, sekadar itu lah yang termampu yer…

So on that night, after I am done with my shower and updating my blog on the kursus rumahtangga course, there's a notification from Instagram..I thought the ladies are just tagging me (yeah kan…byk sangat selfie) but when I checked my phone - 'blissphotocinema tagged you in a photo'

WAIT!!!! BLISS TAGGED ME?? PHOTO DA KLUAR….CEPAT PER!!!

Dengan pantas eh check….and I was so captivated lah seh! The picture is so cantik…

Macam tak percaya seh our pics are uploaded on their account and 1 thing for sure, I know that I will not regret choosing Syahruz as our photographer since the 1st time I saw all his shots. Even before I met Wak Jawa, I knew that I wanted Team Bliss to be part of my wedding event and I am so thankful my wishes came true :)

Even till now, Wak Jawa still talks about how he liked the photo of us, this is so not him. He won't keep on talking about things unless he really2 is mesmerised by it…Im glad he feels this way :)

Kursus Rumahtangga - Kasih Sejati by Suchi Success

As salam all my BTBs! 
Hope all is well for you….I'm sure those getting married in the year 2015 da start kelam kabut gedebak gedebuk kan…kan…..kan….????

Haha, sama lah kita…..I'm left with less den 100 days till I am officially Wak Jawa's wife (sap!!! wife seh)

Over the weekend, Wak Jawa and I attended the Marriage Course by Suchi Success - Kasih Sejati.

Although it is not necessary to take the course now (unless you are below 21) I would highly recommend all the Pengantins to be to attend this course.

We may THINK we know what are the rights and wrongs or dos and dont's in a marriage but this course reveals more to it. Even Wak Jawa is pleased attending this course.

Why Suchi Success?? I heard many good reviews by BTBs in the blogs and also, my friends. Not only that, Wak Jawa parents love to go to some of the courses by Ustaz Khair & wife Suriati Abdullah so when I told them that the course is lead by this husband and wife, they gave 2 thumbs up! 

Also, for the ladies, it is not compulsory for you to don on the hijab (unless you are attending courses at the mosques) - but I did lah since I am intending to wear it once after I am married :)

Cost of the course : SGD150 per person (SGD300 per couple)
Time : 0900 - 1800
Venue : 152 Paya Lebar Rd, Citipoint
Days : Weekend (Saturday & Sunday) - make sure eh korang takder plan on that day, klau ada wedding pon confirm tak dapat pergi unless its wedding dinner ah.
Kindly ensure that you come a lil earlier on the 1st day of the course for registration purpose.

And just nice, while we just parked the bike, another couple also just reached and suddenly the guy shouted at Wak Jawa "oi…..da nak kawin kapa…?" I was like saper seh? Rupanya Wak Jawa's Primary School mate, Hafiz, who happens to be my Secondary School mate…small world indeed :)

So detailed right? I know, but trust me, it is beneficial to me and Wak Jawa.
Ustaz Khair was the 1st Speaker for the course followed by errr…..Ustaz Jalil..I think (sorry I forgot his name k) and then the next day, again by Ustaz Khair and then after lunch it is lead by his wife, Mdm Suriati.

Ustaz Khair memang lah kelakar! confirm ah korang tak akan ngantok….aside to his jokes, he emphasize on how important for each couple to always cherish the RELATIONSHIP between us. How to tackle when one faces challenges and what to expect in every marriage. The 2nd Ustaz stresses more on the meaning of Nikah, Nafkah, Tanggungjawab, Nafsu and the list goes on…..
Lastly, Mdm Suriati guides us on communication between couple, the love language and how to respond to the other half without leading to quarrel :) She also teaches on how a man and a woman thinks, also showed the 'Brain Structure' of a man and a woman…like what man thinks most of the time (sex) and what woman are not good at (reading map and stuffs)

In the middle of the discussion nanti korang standby lah eh Ustaz Khair will curik2 pics of the attendees…and he will upload the pics on the FB page. Keep a lookout on when he will will take ur pics yelah takot2 masa tu korang ugh korek hidung ker garok ketiak kan, nanti da tak glamour..haha!! 
Anyways, we have to be seated mirrored our partner. For example I am seated on the 1st row, 3rd from right, so my partner also have to be seated on the men side that arrangement too.

There will also be times when the speaker speaks and asks opinion, thats where the guys will tease the ladies and vice versa..haha!
Wak Jawa part2 menyakat…..eh…dialah terror k….bila ramai dia gangster, tapi bila sorang dia hamster..LOL!!!!!

Especially this part where we had to be in group and discussed on what are the things that we bingit about the guys and what are the thing that the guys bingit about us ladies. 

So, each person in the group had to come out and list down. 
The result from the ladies are -

• Tak pandai pujuk - this one i write..haha!
• Not responsive
• Bola vs Us
• tidak memahami perasaan

Result from the guys are -

• Selalu membuat andaian
• Tidak cukup berasmara (jimak) 
• Selalu minta dipuji
• Membebel

The moment all da tulis mcm2 ah comment yg terkeluar form both sides..haha! serious..ni kekek! 


We had to play the game twister but don't worry, only the guys needs to get down on it, the ladies sekadar pusing2 kan the board and instruct the guys…Nasib Wak Jawa kene relek jer..ada sampai kene mcm gymnastic, klau badan tak flexible tu all the best lah eh..haha!!

So what is the purpose of this game? It relates in many ways, communication, willingness, how woman is the one who will be the planner and they guys are the one acting on it and many more which we discussed about it after the game. 
Part kekek -
We thought that we also had to play the game when Ustaz Khair mentioned "ok..yang lelaki sila mask dulu…..yg wanita stay…korang pon ada bahagian…."
In my mind was "alamak..leceh ah klau nak main..mana dgn yg pakai skirt, mana yg baju singkat, mana yg tudung tak ketat….bla bla bla"
And when all the guys went in, ustaz Khair say "ok..ladies…i want you all to……LIPAT KAN BENDE NI LEPAS TU MASUK KLASS…..hehehehe!!!"
Geram seh dia bikin suspense..haha!!!

It ended well with the certificate being issued to each couple. Mdm Suriati will call by the guys name followed by the partner. Ni part funny when Mdm Suriati called out to Wak Jawa's name but she purposely change my name to tease Wak Jawa….
"Mohd Fairuz Bin Adnan dengan pasangan….Siti Masturah…"
Wak Jawa was like "eh…salah….no no no….hahaha"
Mdm Suriati asked again "are you sure this is not your partner's name?"
Wak Jawa "betul…itu bukan nama dia…"
And den she handed the certs and say "ah….sengaja testing.." hahahahaaha!!!

Besides Hafiz's fiance, I also made friend with another BTB, Hazlinda, a very sweet lady :) We exchanged number and followed each other on Instagram. We texted each other on our preparation and stuffs….gerek!

Sibok tau si Hafiz photobomb! haha! So BTBs yang baca this blog, this is from Wak Jawa and me,  we highly recommend you this course!

The 2nd meet-up with Peti Solek!!!!

Ok so, 13 November me and Wak Jawa met up with The kakak2 andams from Peti Solek :)
I took leave while Wak Jawa took half day since his work place is nearer.
We were lost ok! Mana tak lost, dari kampung East ker West......selenger bacen! Wak Jawa was driving and kita pusing punya pusing still tak dapat carik the building, we are around the area but ish.....building tak jumpa2 nie....
I look looked at the time and damn, we were 30mins late!
So finally we FOUND the buidling (Selenge kaper!!)

The moment I went in, Yana terus tegur "U lost weight???!!!!!!"
yes, lost just a lil....not too much seh! 
So I replied "Yes!!....a litttle jer sebab nak pakai baju2 cantik from Peti Solek kan!! hahahah!!"

And I wanted to choose the Pre-Wed outfit 1st since is nearing but Yaya insist for me to choose the Nikah outfit dulu.
Ok lah, she's the expert so I dengar cakap kakak andam I ok....
She 1st asked me what colour and pattern I like....Just told her that I wanted something simple, sweet and pure and as long as the kain is flowy (my mum's request) so Yaya choose this for me to try it on...

Hehe!! Sneak2 jer lah k.....its simple jer since Im gonna don on the hijab for my nikah, I don't want to much of beads or details on the baju :)
I just love the platform that I was on….feeling ala2 model (plus size) I sedar I ni tak kurus hokay!

And then it is Wak Jawa's turn to try his outfit on.....
I didnt manage to take his pic coz I was too mesmerized lah seh, He look so..GGGAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! Handsome seh....seriously! Haha....coz  Wak Jawa is not really the kind who will dress up and stuffs so when he tried on the outfit, Fuhlamak! 
Honestly, I fell in love again with him :)


NEXT UP!!!! The 1st photoshoot outfit :)
Again, Yaya asked me what I would like the pattern to be and I told her I wanted something simple2 jer (Tak habis2 eh nak simple)
She chose this outfit (to me it just didnt look appealing) and I think Yaya sensed my 'not convinced' look so she quickly say "try jer dulu...kadang2 baju ni kan, nak kene try baru nampak cantik....."
Ok, with a heavy heart, I tried it....and OMG!!!!!! its beautiful lah deh!
Yaya was like more happy to see me in the outfit than Wak Jawa.

To make things great, I was informed that the outfit Im wearing for the photoshoot is only launching next year and I am the 1st one who gets to wear it even before they launched!! woohoooo.....!!!!!!

And another thing to share with you.....My 2nd outfit for the photoshoot, I decided to get Amor Bridal to assist me with something which does not look too 'bride' and not too casual, they met me at my house and took the measurements and I had to wait for around 6 weeks for the outfit to siap.

A month had passed……and I received this in my email…….

What do you think? its sweet kan……simple2 jer :)

The photoshoot is just next week and my kursus rumah tangga is this weekend…yippie yay!!!

The WORST bridal ever...!

We all have heard of the famous Enchantered Weddding right? The couple (husband and wife) that have all in one package that tipu many mempelai out there.


Now..now...akak nak share siket lah eh. About this bridal that makes me really hilang kesabaran when I had read her whatsapp reply to a bride. I have never heard of this bridal before but I survey2 and she is quite known lah. 
Wont say which bridal....but u all look see look see lah sendiri yer...



Ok, here it is.....what I personally find it 'unacceptable' is the way her reply to customer. Not tactful at all, not patient enough, does not dare to face the customers when they insist to meet her. So unprofessional lah senang kata. Baju jahit asal boleh and benang terkeluar-terkeluar on baju nikah pengantin. The bride and groom on the other hand very the penyabar seh (klau kene aku, confirm berbakul maki hamun aku kasi)

Ok fine, her grandmother is in the hospital and it may affect her mood but still, you gotta be professional kan? 
You don't have to say things like -
"tak yah ungkit k"
"we already 7 years in this business and no complain at all"
"if you pay 1pair 1k for high end boutoque den u can complain"






And they even have the cheek to say that the benang they use to sew on the groom baju is gold when it is orange...like obvious orange. Kesian tau mak pengantin bukak balek tu jahitan and sew back. ish ish ish...!
